EMR Opens Ashford Scrap Metal Recycling Plant

The Ashford facility also incorporates two weighbridges and a full-fledged non-ferrous facility to promote local scrap trade.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): U.K-based EMR Ltd. has announced opening of its new scrap metal recycling facility in Ashford. The new facility was officially opened by The Mayor of Ashford, Councillor Mrs Jessamy Blanford.

The company has invested over £4 million into construction of the new facility, which features modern equipment capable to process huge size scrap materials generated by manufacturing and demolition industries. The Ashford facility also incorporates two weighbridges and a full-fledged non-ferrous facility to promote local scrap trade.

EMR UK Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Brady thanked the Mayor of Ashford for marking the official opening of the new facility by cutting the ceremonial ribbon. Apart from its valued customers and partners, Brady also thanked the community group Keep Ashford Clean for their continued support. EMR Ltd. promises to guarantee who-hearted support to communities and groups near to the site in future as well, Brady added.

The Mayor of Ashford stated that the Town is excited to welcome EMR and wished the company every success. She added that Ashford is proud to have a leading recycling facility based in the heart of its community. The new facility will boost recycling of waste metal and end-of-life vehicles of both residential and commercial customers, she added.
