SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The firefighters from Clovis are reported to be battling out a fire at Paper Recycling Depot on 401, Curry Avenue, South of Mabry Drive.

The fire was reported by the business owner himself at around 5.30 pm Sunday. The fire fighters rushed to the spot but were unable to go inside for safety reasons as of 6.45 pm. The fire was contained to the building. As per firefighters, cardboard and rubbish inside the building continued to burn. According to Clovis Fire Department, this is the third fire in Clovis in less than 24 hours. Earlier, a fire on Saturday night had damaged an office building at Auto World and a second fire had damaged a shed on Gidding Street.

Also, Sunday’s fire was the second in a year at the recycling plant. The reason for the first fire is still not yet identified. The company owner suspects arson for the fire incident that occurred on Sunday.
