29th March, 2017: Scrap Gold and Platinum prices drop, Silver records marginal gain

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and platinum prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined Wednesday, 29^th March, 2017 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Silver scrap prices increased marginally over the previous day.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 0.43 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 0.55 and $ 0.67 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 0.27 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap saw cut of $ 9.48 per Oz to reach $ 702.87 per Oz. Silver scrap prices increased marginally by $0.15 per Oz when compared with the previous day.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 0.41 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 0.51 and $ 0.63 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 0.26 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices fell by $ 9.48 per Oz. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices witnessed marginal rise of $0.13 per Oz.
