ELECTRIC TRANSMISSION & DISTRIBUTION

Sabre Tubular Structures, Sabre Industries’ utility division, is one of the leading providers of utility support structures. With three manufacturing locations spread out across the country, we have the ability to provide customers with engineering, design, manufacturing, testing, and galvanizing for a wide range of steel utility structures. Sabre provides transmission structures from 69kV to 765kV including single poles, H-Frames, wood pole equivalents and substation structures. 

In addition to manufacturing structures, our Alvarado, Texas facility is home to our new testing station. Developed by Brametal, Sabre/Brametal Testing Services, LLC, provides full scale structure testing on lattice towers, tubular steel structures, and wood or concrete poles. Our new testing station offers both destructive and non-destructive testing on real size structures. 

Sabre offers utility poles in a wide range of finishes. We can provide you with weathering steel, hot-dip galvanized or dulled structures. Our galvanizing division, Sabre Galvanizing Services, is located on-site and is one of the largest and most environmentally-friendly, full service galvanizers in North America. Utilizing a 65 foot kettle and some of the latest technology, it provides maintenance-free corrosion resistance for the designed life span of your steel structures. In addition to our galvanizer, we have an on-site dulling facility offering you the option of dulled galvanizing for your utility poles.

Purpose-built for the manufacture of steel utility structures, our combined facilities provide a total of 740,745 square feet of state-of-the-art manufacturing space. 

We also offer full scale structure testing in the United States. Developed with Brametal’s extensive testing experience, Sabre/Brametal Testing Services, LLC is located at our industrial complex in Alvarado, Texas. Designed to test both towers and poles, this facility offers either destructive or non-destructive testing on lattice towers, tubular steel structures, and wood or concrete poles. Your full service partner, we offer engineering, design, manufacturing, testing and galvanizing for a wide range of steel utility structures used in transmission, distribution, and substation applications. 

Also located on our Texas industrial complex is Sabre Galvanizing Services. It is one of the most efficient and environmentally-friendly general galvanizers in the United States, and one of the largest. Situated on 35 acres, this 52,000 square foot facility has one of the biggest operating kettles in North America. Measuring 65’ long x 11’ deep x 9’ wide, it holds 2.58 million pounds of molten zinc. With 20 ton lifting capacity, Sabre Galvanizing Services can galvanize the largest steel fabrications with ease.

MUTI has extensive knowledge in getting a wind turbine approved and financed, and provides turnkey installation. In addition to wind applications, Tubular Structures has the ability to manufacture infrastructure for solar arrays and Building Systems offers buildings that house and protect the control equipment for large photovoltaic plants. Galvanizing Services completes the project by galvanizing the solar arrays. Our towers and buildings are also used for SCADA infrastructure. 

Sabre Government Systems supplies our products and services to the United States Government and its first and second tier contractors. Benefiting from Sabre’s considerable resources, this division provides customers with a complete wireless system for such things as command centers, homeland security, law enforcement, and public safety to mention a few. We hold a GSA contract which makes it possible for GSA-approved buyers to purchase our products.
