In June of 1951, the Simpson family opened Precision Screw Thread for business. Today it remains a family-owned, veteran-owned, Wisconsin business. In the 60s, PST saw growth with the acquisition of new thread rolling equipment. In the mid- 70s, PST ventured into a new area of business, manufacturing ball screws. With this growth, they opened the facility in the Muskego business park where it continues to operate to this day. In the 80s, PST expanded in new directions by offering services such as turning, grinding and machining. This allowed the company to provide complete parts for a variety of industries. In 2006, PST received its first AS9100/ISO certification. This positioned PST to build its reputation as a quality supplier in the aerospace and medical equipment industries.
